To ensure the security and stability of your IT infrastructure, migrating to Windows 11 is now essential.

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. After this date, the system will continue to function, but it will no longer receive any updates—whether security patches or performance improvements.

End of Support: A Gradual but Real Risk

Although computers running Windows 10 will still start and operate after October 2025, they will become increasingly vulnerable. Without security updates, any vulnerabilities discovered after this date will remain unpatched, exposing workstations to growing threats. In a professional environment—where business applications, PMS systems, or payment terminals must remain fully operational—this lack of protection represents a significant risk.

Beyond security concerns, Windows 10 devices may also face compatibility issues. Software publishers are now focusing primarily on Windows 11, meaning that certain applications or hardware drivers will evolve without considering Windows 10. Gradually, some programs may malfunction or lose support, leading to slowdowns, errors, or noticeable performance drops. Windows 10 will inevitably age while software and hardware continue to progress.

A Structured Migration with No Service Interruptions

To support this transition, UTH has implemented a progressive and supervised migration plan. Between September and October 2025, compatible workstations will be updated in waves, completely transparently for users. The process is simple: when your workstation is ready, Windows will prompt you to install the update. All you need to do is restart your computer—preferably at the end of the day or during a break. The transition requires no complex technical intervention or remote assistance; only a few minutes of downtime are necessary.

This approach ensures a smooth upgrade without disrupting your work or impacting your production tools. Our teams handle the entire planning, monitoring, and follow-up process and remain available to answer your questions or assist if needed.

Controlled Costs and a Transition Included in Your Contract

Upgrading to Windows 11 does not generate any additional cost: it is entirely free as long as your Windows 10 licenses are valid. Workstation audits, migration planning, and support throughout the process are already included in your UTH maintenance contract.

In some cases, certain computers may not meet the technical requirements for Windows 11. If this occurs, we will offer tailored solutions to replace the affected equipment, while ensuring your budget and internal organization are preserved.

Preparing Your Environment for the Years Ahead

The move to Windows 11 is not only an obligation due to the end of support—it is also an opportunity to modernize your infrastructure, enhance workstation stability, and strengthen data protection. By anticipating this transition, you ensure that your IT environment is ready for current and future needs.
